How are the crowds and weather at the end of June?

I am in the process of booking a trip for the end of June. I usually go in December so I know this will be quite different.

For those of you who have been at the end of June...............

How bad are the crowds??? and How is the Weather????

We visited the last week of June 2004 and stayed at AKL. It was very crowded, long wait times and if you didn't get a fast pass for Test Track and Space Mountain before noon, there were none to be had. The weather was hot and humid with a few afternoon showers. We just slowed our pace and did what we could get to. We spent alot of money on cold water!!!

Uh Oh! Are the crowds worse than April???? Is it at least a little better than July and August???

we wil be at pop century from 6/18 - 6/25 and hoping it won't be boiling hot.
We can all dream can't we. We're northerners that can't take the southern heat that well. Already bought misty fans for the parks.

Since the end of June is near the Fourth of July, crowds do tend to build. Plan on it being very hot. Be especially prepared in AK. Since the park is heavily foilaged, air movement is minimal and it seems much more humid than at the other parks. If you can, go early while it is still cool outside.

Good luck finding a room on property. I have been checking Expedia.com for resort occupancy for our vacation and it seems that most hotels are booked solid later in the month.

I did it!!! We will be staying at Saratoga Springs - one bedroom for our first trip "home"!

The end of June is much mor ecrowded than the second half of August. But don''t stress! Go early, use FastPass, take a break to swim...you'll have a great time!
