How are the buses from SSR to DHS in the mornings?

Title is my question! My dh and I are driving to Disney in September 12-20th (just the two of us). While we will have a car, my dh absolutely does not want to drive while there. He loves taking the buses but my worry is getting to DHS early enough to get a boarding pass for the starwars ride.

What time should we be at the bus stop to catch the bus to DHS for rope drop? I've seen they've been letting people enter the park @ 9:15ish. Should we be at the bus stop @ 8:30ish? Is that enough time or should we be there earlier?

We were at the poly a couple weeks ago. We got to the bus stop at 8:45 for our day at HS. A bus did not come until 30 minutes later. Also, the buses are set up for social distancing, they are labeled for groups 1-6. The bus driver tells you where to sit. We were lucky that everyone that was waiting got onto our bus, but I was nervous we wouldn’t get a seat and we were the first ones at the bus stop.

It really just depends on how often the buses are running and how many people are wanting to get on the bus. I would definitely go as early as possible - just to get a seat on the bus.

Thank you! Looks like we'll be driving to that park.
