Hi everyone, I am thinking of visiting just for one day while we will be in CA in April. I went many times as a child but have not been in many years.

I read that Fridays get crowded and was wondering if the mornings are generally OK? We have a three year old so my plan is to be there are opening and hit all the fantasy land rides and TT. If the park opens at 8:00 do they open Main Street before that? Does anyone have a reccomendation for what time I should be pulling in the parking lot If I want to be there for opening. If I arrive at 7:30 will that be enough time to park and get tickets?

Thanks for any help! We'll be there on April 25th if that helps. Hopefully the spring break crowds will be gone by then.

Friday mornings are better than Saturday mornings. ;)

I would aim for being in the parking garage by 7:00 am for 8:00 am opening.

I'll be there that day too with a bunch of wild ladies from the Disboards. Look for the teal t-shirts!

I'll look for you in the your teal shirts!
Do you know if they usually open Main St early and hold you at a rope at the end of the street? I think that is how I remember it being from when I was last there.
Is the parking garage a pain to get in and out of? I just remember how huge the parking lots used to be and I can't figure out how they can get all those cars into a garage. :confused3

Parking is very efficient. They tell you exactly where to go and you take an escalator down that drops you off right at the tram that takes you to the park.
May I suggest purchasing your passes on-line prior to your trip? You print them from your computer, and then you don't have to waste time in an additional line in the morning.

The OP is only getting a 1 day ticket, not available online.
