How are evening EMH enforced?

We're staying at BWI next week, and though it will be our 5th trip in four years, we've never taken advantage of EMH as our kids always needed sleep. I noticed that HS will have EMH from 7-9 next week. We can do that! However, I'm skeptical the crowds in the park will actually thin out. It's not like a party where they can check for bracelets, right? It's not like only on-site guests have magic bands. So how do they enforce evening EMH? I'm assuming there's some protocol CMs use for parkgoers who were already in the park all day. Anyone know or have experience with evening EMH? Are they generally more crowded than morning EMH?

They scan MBs at the entrance to each ride and verify your resort.

In my experience, PM EMH at DHS doesn't tend to thin well - too many thrill seekers who enjoy the late hours - and often too much drinking. But YMMV.

CM's scan the magic band of at least 1 member of each party before you are allowed to get in line.
They are more crowded than the morning EMH, especially when it is early.

The great thing about Evening EMH, is you can always just leave if you feel the waits are longer than you want to put up with.

We always take advantage of EMH, morning and evening.

Like PP mentioned, CMs are suppose to scan MBs, so yes the wait times should go down. But the "early evening EMH's" (like HS 7-9) usually will not thin out the crowd much in the park. We like to take advantage of late night EMH, especially at MK. We can get in a lot of rides during those times and then we just sleep in the next morning

Non resort guests can stay eating and shopping or sitting on a bench but they are not allowed to ride anything, like others have said, they scan MB for that

Varies.
Sometimes at least one will be open.

If you are seated before the park "closing time," you may continue to enjoy your meal.
