How are crowds mid May?

We will be in WDW May 13-21st. How are crowds then? Any past experiences would be appreciated.

Mid-May is a great time to go. You'll miss the Spring Break crowd and the summer crowds.

If you have any desire or interest to stay on site at Universal during that time, you may want to call now. I had a hard time finding a room at the on-site hotels, from what I was told there are several conventions going on & rooms are scarce. Good thing about conventions is that they are stuck in meetings all day, while I am out at the parks!!

I needed a room for May 24th and could only book at Portofino Bay - got an AP rate of 253 with tax. Both Hard Rock and Royal Pacific were sold out for that night. Not my #1 Universal hotel, but I'll take what I can get if it means a couple of uninterrupted hours of riding the Mummy and MIB.
