How are crowds during Pop Warner

Our trip is planned for Nov. 28th-Dec. 9th. We will be staying at ASM And I just found out that the Cheerleading compation will be going on during our stay. Now we're rethinking our dates.

My question is, How crowded are the parks? And how crazy is our resort going to be?

Any insite would be appreciated.

We were there last year during Pop Warner week. The kids didn't seem to affect the park crowd levels at all. Every once in a while we'd see a cheerleader or two (well behaved ones with their families), but that's it. I think they have a special event at MGM on the Friday night of the week they are there. We didn't go to MGM that day, so we never saw them.

We stayed at OKW, so I don't have any resort advice for you. I think I have read that All Stars do get very corwded with these kids, especially the pools and food courts.

We found that week to be a fabulous time for visiting WDW. The low crowd levels, Xmas decorations, and special events were great. If you don't want to change your dates, maybe you could change resorts?

You may occasionally encounter cheerleader groups, and yes, they can at some times be a little annoying with all the cheering. Other than that, the park attendence doesn't really seem to be affected very much.

it didn't affect the parks that much at all and the ones we did see were polite etc.

It does however, affect the resorts in a major way, especially the values. We stayed at a moderate, POR and had to call security more than once on them. Their bus unloaded right outside our door at midnight, and the next hour there were screaming teenage girls running, stomping and screaming upstairs (we were on the first floor with a sleeping 2.5 year old). We asked them and their adults to cool it, nicely, once. nothing. so we called security. it finally stopped. The resort pool was super crowded with them as well. Again, the parks were fine and they were totally polite there. It was just the late night antics that got us. i was a screaming, annoying teen cheerleader 20 years ago, so i can't complain too much!
