Great I hope. As many may have noticed, I have not been on in a while, but it has been crazy for the past month or so. We are finally getting repairs done on the house from the hurricanes and praying that no others decide to visit our state. I also have news........my wife and I are expecting our second child!!!!! We are sooooooooooooooooooooooo excited and this news really brought up our spirits since all of the craziness. The only downfall.....probably no trips to Universal Orlando in the near future....or at least not long ones....LOL....

Just wanted to share and hope all of you are well. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers.

Congrats! That is great news. #2 is always exciting. I know its sad to hear about a lack of a trip, but a baby is just so much more FUN!


How is your roof coming along? We just got our roof finished from flooding in the NE back in JULY! Most of the area roofing contractors got slammed with that, and a good portion of roofers also went down south to subcontract.

Congratulations on the new baby! My only baby will soon be 23, I often wish I had a 2nd child, but never did. anyways, she is my Universal buddy. I believe she was about 10 or 11 on our first trip when the studios first opened, and we have been going ever since. we are counting the days until 10-23-04 and we are there for HHN's and 10 days of fun. (annual event for us) DH likes to go too, but only about once a year. (DD and I go 3 or 4 weeks a year)

I live in N.E. Alabama (300 miles north of Destin FL.) and Ivan really did a number on our state. in fact, some areas near me had damage (trees on roofs etc..) and power was knocked off to 1 in 4 customers in the state! friends near me just got their power on last night. weird!

SpideyHulk, I am fairly new to the Dis Boards, and I have never chatted with you personally. BUT I have read MANY of your postings, followed closely during the recent hurricanes and roof repairs... I don't "know" you but I am so happy that you are expecting your second child. Congrats to you and Mrs. SpideyHulk. I have benefited a lot from much of your advice and comments regarding Universal. It's people like you that make these boards so valuable and so special. There is genuine concern amongst the people who read and post here. SO, thanks for all of the great advice and Congrats again!
