I have ressies for Cindy's Castle at 8:20. With transportation starting at the resorts at 8:00 I won't possibly be able to get there in time. I believe the Animal Kingdom is early admission day. Can I get a bus from there to Magic Kingdom this early? Or should I go to the Animal Kingdom then catch a bus to the GF?
Can anyone help?

Busses do run before 8am. We had an 8:20 PS at CRT, too, on a Friday. We were at the bus stop by 7:15am and only waited a couple of minutes before the Magic Kingdom bus arrived. When we got to MK, my brother had to trade his and my SIL's tickets in (the old photo ones) yet we still had time to walk down Main Street and get pictures in front of the castle with NO ONE in them! We got to our PS, on time and were seated immediately.

So the buses start running at what time??

Thank you maine_jennifer!!!

You might really want to consider that taxi (not expensive)....but don't worry. You can get there with a bus. Sometimes when we're in a hurry and the bus we need doesn't seem to be coming we'll take a different bus -- like you could take one to the TTC and then over to the MK on the monorail, which runs very early.

Once we were at AK and were waiting quite a while for a bus to the MK one very hot lunchtime and we asked another bus driver when he thought a MK bus would come -- nobody was on his bus yet so he changed his sign to "Magic Kingdom" and took just the 3 of us there! He was so nice - told us stories aobut working for WDW the whole way!

If you are staying on-site, my recommendation would be to express to the person at the check-in desk that you have an 8:20 PS at CRT and how can you go about getting there. Let them give you the best alternative. They can find out for you if there is an earlier bus than thought and then you will have your answer for sure.

Buses run approx. 2 hours before park opening and 2 hours after closing.

I second carone0318's advice; check at your hotel. I think that there are sometimes special buses that run specifically for early dining reservations.

When we were staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge on one of our last visits, we had an 8:10 ressie at Tony's Town Square (back when the Crystal Palace was closed for renovations). We asked at the desk whether there would be a bus that early and we were told that there would be. Our party of 12 had the bus all to ourselves, it was our first day in the park, and our little cousins got there first glimpse of the castle. It shouldn't be any problem. Just ask at the desk.

Is that what those buses that are marked "SPECIAL" are all about? I've seen them running early in the AM - you mean I could have taken them to an early character breakfast!!:faint: I'm so stupid! We were late for a castle breakfast once, but then again we were staying at the Dolphin and when we asked them what to do they didn't have any ideas.
