Personally, I am more interested in the QUALITY of the topics versus the QUANTITY. People are more likely to participate when the topics are of things that interest them and they find some value in posting their replies.

I don't need ten more daily topics asking what day of the week my trash is collected or other similar pointless threads posted by individuals who never engage in any sort of conversation here.
