I posted on the February board, but maybe I'll get a couple bites here...

How accurate have you found the touringplans website to be?

My family is trying to decide whether to go the day before the Super Bowl (info not available on touringplans), or Sat. Feb. 11. It states that Feb. 11 will be a 4 out of 10 in terms of crowds. Do you think that going on the 11th would be a better choice? I just thought it wouldn't be as hectic Super Bowl weekend, but now I'm second guessing myself!

I have read on a few threads that touring plans is lacking.:confused3 I could see it going either way really! Either no one is there because they are all watching the game or all of the Moms left home so that they wouldn't have to watch the game! :lmao:
In all seriousness though, I really thought a girlfriend told me that the parks are dead Superbowl Sunday. Did you look at the AP calendars to check if they are blocked dates? That may help you gauge it to. I'm sure some one with more knowledge will answer soon! Good luck!

At least the schools in Huntington Beach still get Lincoln's Birthday off which is Monday the 13th. So a 3 day weekend might add to the crowds. Sat the 11th is a blackout for the lower 2 passes though - Sunday the 12th is only blacked out for the lowest pass.

I do not want to say TP is inaccurate. I will say that I cannot relate their rating system to what I see when I am there. So it is not useful to me.

On the other hand, I have grown to trust their predictions for ride wait times. I have seen the Disney signs with wait times differ from TP and TP is almost always closer.
