I checked, accuweather.com, for a forecast of the weather when we will be at Universal/IOA.
They are predicating clouds and rain for the whole week :(

How accurate is this site?
Will our first time to Universal/IOA be a complete washout?

I figure that I'll start worrying when it's closer since the weather forcast can change a lot between now and then. Not to mention the fact that worrying won't change it. :) I'll bring ponchos with me and be ready for any rain. One thing is for certain--it won't snow!

T&B

Don't let that ruin your trip. Yes, it's a hassle, but you will still have fun. I would rather have a day of rain at Universal, then a sunny day at the office....;)

except for the fact all Ghostbusters Shows would be rained out. :( :p And Beetlejuice's Graveyard Revue Shows...*sigh*

It's predicting VERY rainy weather on Sunday, but I'm still eagerly waiting updates because like someone else already said, it does change frequently. One time, it was like 50% chance of rain, and the next day, it read 0%. You just never know! I doubt it would be rainy all week though...usually it's a period of 2 or 3 days

Thanks guys!
I'm going to try not to worry...it is better than a day at the office (rain, snow or sun) that's for sure!

I did already buy our rain jackets/ponchos, although I hope we won't have to use them.

flyfly... i have no words, LOL! ;)

:sunny: When we were down here on vacation 6 years ago, it rained the entire time! However, we bought ponchos and made the best of it. You'll still have a great time so don't let that worry you.

However, the weather forcasts can usually predict how warm it will be but I've come to find that they really have no clue if its going to rain.

Have fun!

point and case: rain chance during the day tomorrow has drastically dropped. :)

That's one of the great things about Universal. Rain doesn't hamper you too much since the rides are long and you aren't spending too much time wandering around.

Well...that 80% chance of rain changed to rain only in the VERY early morning. No shows were rained out or anything. Turned out to be a nice day! Just goes to show you to not worry...it'll work out one way or another!

I usually check weather.com. This is The Weather Channel's website. I start monitoring about a week out and check it compulsively until we leave.

No matter, you will have a blast!
