How accurate are the Personal Navigators?

We are going on a Western Caribbean 7-Day on the Fantasy. It looks to be a very typical cruise. On the disney cruise line blog, they have personal navigators from an April 2016 (non-Star Wars) cruise with my same itinerary. How much would you trust/believe/rely on those navigators? I'm thinking in terms of shows, trivia challenges, types of characters available, etc.

Thanks!

My guess is that you could get an idea of just how active you could be.

They give you a good general idea of what will be going on. Each cruise does things in the same general way.

I don't think it changes much -- especially the shows. The lunch buffet themes, drinks of the day and dinner menu themes might change.

I Have looked at a lot of these and almost everything is the same except for the tastings.

Past Navigators will give you a good idea of what kind of activities to expect and which ones you will not want to miss. But don't expect that everything will be the same. On your cruise some of the entertainers may be different, some of the characters may change, and the times listed in the Navigator may not match up with your cruise.

The personal navigator should be pretty close because all the cruises pretty much have the same activities, might not be same time or day but it's bound to show up at some point during the cruise. Even for characters the last two cruises we had (different ships too) were the same with the exception of a few additions. Happy Sailing! :sail:

Thanks everyone! This is both good and bad news for us! Good news because it looks like I scheduled our activities properly and won't miss many if any of the onboard fun we want to do. But...it doesn't look like Aurora will be on the ship. That will make my daughter a little sad because that's her favorite character. I'm sure some free ice cream will cheer her right up though! :)

It is possible that Aurora could be one of the princesses on board during your cruise, although I do not recall seeing her on my last 3 cruises.
