I havent seen a thread on here about owners from Georgia.
SO who all on here are from Georgia.
Ill start we are from mid Georgia about 2 hours south of Atlanta.

I am about an hour south of Augusta. Home of the Masters. I have seen SEVERAL DVC logos on cars around Augusta. Sring Break is always the same time as the Master's Tourney, so everyone gets out of town.....now I know where they go. LOL!

I have friends (ones who got us hooked on the cult known as the DVC) who live in Villa Rica. Not sure if he's (they are) on the DISBoards or not (I keep reminding him), so I know a Villa Rica DVC member.

We joined in Sept 2008.

I was in Calhoun just before Christmas. Our local high school played Calhoun in the 3rd round of the state playoffs. Was a good game and great fans all around.

I have a DVC sticker that I bought for my car, I just can't bring myself to put it on -- I tend to display bumper stickers in my back window if I am passionate about something. It took forever, just to stick a small college logo sticker (my alama matter) on the back of my SUV window on the outside......eeek! Somethign about sticking a bumper sticker on my car, screams NO NO NO to me...oh well, my hangup. LOL!

But I also have two cars that I alternate driving, so I can't decide which one to put it on. Guess this means I'll have to buy another (in, oh, about two weeks when we visit WDW). I guess I'll have to add a lime green Mickey head too.....

We're from Columbus, GA--2 hours SW of Hotlanta, and 6 hours NW of WDW! We bought at BLT last year, too--we visit WDW 2-3 times a year and had been waiting for a DVC resort on the monorail line! So far, we're loving DVC!

Good to see fellow members from Georgia. We live about 45 mins. south of Atlanta. ( Griffin) However, I have never met anyone around here that is part of DVC.

We are in Douglasville, about 30 minutes west of Atlanta. Bought in at BCV in January, 2003.

i was glad i finaly saw a dvc sticker in macon the other day.
its funny how everyone gives directions from atlanta---2 hours south/1 hour north ect...
we should all change to the distance from wdw.
im about 5/6 hours away depending on how long its been since we have been.

Flyingcat, We lived in Griffin for 7 yrs before we moved back to newnan area. Technically we are from Sharpsburg but more people know Newnan and that is a good reference point. We miss being from the Griffin side/mcdonough side when we were there as we were so close to 75. Oh well. It's all good in the dis/wdw world!!

Well, where I live in PoDunk, I'm about 2.5 hours from the ATL.....LOL!

Augusta is closer, about 40 minutes.

I grew up in Savannah and went to college in Statesboro.

My in-laws live in Powder Springs. Hubster's extended family lives in Marietta.
