Can anyone tell me about this? We are looking for one more CS on our last park day. We will be at MK and will be going to Cosmic Rays for dinner(we have two CS left for that day, using two TS the day before). Anyway, a friend I know told me they enjoy this restaurant, but it's been a while and I wanted to ask dissers! After looking at the menu I was thinking I'd probably get the fried fish basket, and DD would probably get that or the 8 piece chicken breast nugget basket. Are these good choices? They sound good, but was looking for answers from others who have been here. Thanks! :goodvibes

I would recommend CHH with the chicken or fish baskets. The fish especially is something a little different that you don't see too many places at WDW. Of course health conscience people would prefer one of the sandwiches or salads on the menu but I will stick with the fried ones - in moderation of course ;) . The fish is breaded (probably cod) and I think you get three pieces.

The restaurant has great atmosphere and if the upstairs seating is open it can be a nice place for a quiet meal before returning to the attractions. The chicken nuggets are the same as at other CS places that serve nuggets - not formed pieces like McNuggets but real chicken pieces.

We ate lunch here for the first time about two weeks ago. I got the fried fish and chicken basket. It was pretty good for a CS. My sister got the tuna sandwich, which she said was very good. We ate downstairs and I forgot to check if the upstairs was open. However, downstairs is broken up enough that it didn't get very noisy. I recommend this place, especially if you looking to get something besides a burger at a CS.

The food is pretty good there, we usually get the combo chicken and fish basket because I can't get just the fish when I know how much better the fish and chips are in England at Epcot.

While Cosmic Ray's is my favorite counter service location, I also went to the Columbia Harbour House back in August and had the Chicken Breast Nuggets & Fish, which was very good.

We always make a point of eating here at least once every trip. We love the clam chowder and the fish/chicken meals.

We always go here for lunch on our trips - we really like it!
We sit upstairs - usually in the area with the walkway between Fantasyland and Liberty Square underneath. It's usually very quiet up there, and a good place to catch our breath for a little while!
We always get the fish basket, too - yummy!

Wow, I'm glad to read so many positive reviews of the CHH! I'm really looking forward to going there now. I may even have to get the clam chowder, as I really like that and it sounds yummy here! Any decent desserts here? Thanks! :)

We love it. We make sure we eat there at least once during each stay.

This is our fav CS at the MK. We always enjoy our meal here, especially if we eat upstairs- a great place for people watching!

I wish they would bring the ham/broccoli slaw sandwich back- it was sooo good. I will be trying the tuna this trip, although the fish basket is a good choice too.

They seem to have somewhat limited hours in the evening though so eat before the parade to get your dinner..

I love the atmosphere for CHH! I have never sat downstairs and ate, we always sit upstairs. It's great up there. Usually fairly quiet (even during lunch rush) and sometimes you can find tables near windows that overlook the walkways and you can people watch.

Even though I haven't ate there since 2004, I think the food has gone downhill a bit, but this can probably be said about all the QS locations. My mom and sister were there last year and said it wasn't as good as they remembered. I hear a lot of people rave about the sandwiches... chicken & fish baskets are like anywhere else.

It's a nice change from the other CS places that just serve the regular ole burger and fries. We usually eat there at least 1 time per trip. We love the chicken baskets!

I would recommend the Lighthouse Sandwich. I had it 3 times and never tired of it. It's a sandwich on whole grain bread with hummus, tomato and broccoli slaw. Very good and not heavy. My son tried the fish and liked it, my daughter had the salad, also very good. We're not huge dessert eaters so I don't know for certain what's on that menu, but I seem to remember there's an apple something or other, and chocolate chip cookies. Anyway, the CHH is an excellent CS choice.

DH loves the fish basket and I love the tuna sandwich. This is our favorite CS at MK..not as frantic as other spots and the food is yummy!

Upstairs is a fantastic view of the Haunted Mansion, quiet little nooks to eat your food in peace. The food was good, we enjoyed this CS more than Cosmic Ray's.

Shhh..you're not supposed to tell everyone about that!

Chalk up to more "love it's" for CHH. DF and I both really enjoy the food there. She doesn't eat red meat, so the fact that the combo has chicken & fish is a good thing. I just get the chicken & fish combo because it's something a bit different. Deffinatly our favorite CS in MK. We were walking around New Years Eve a few years ago (our first trip together, my first trip ever, and her first since childhood), and were starving. We ended up getting a Turkey Leg at the cart right outside CHH, and wondered where the people found that. We have since become much better at navigating our way through MK, and hardly a visit to WDW is complete without at trip to CHH. We too like eating upstairs, since it is generally a bit more quiet and a place to rest for a bit.

The tuna sandwich is great and they allowed me to substitute fries for chips. One of my favorite CS meals on our last trip. The background music was fun - my kids were dancing and singing (My Bonnie lies over the ocean, blow the man down, etc.) It was uncrowded enough upstairs that they were able to move around. Very nice.
