How about a Pet Exchange? No, No No...I don't mean our actual pets!

I'm not that familiar with how the exchanges work, but with so many folks here who love their pets, I was wondering , has the DIS ever done a pet exchange with items like toys and treats?

It just struck me as something that might be a good idea but I'm not very good at organizing things like that...

Has it ever been done?

He's eaten a few books in his day...

Thus far he's eaten two...for some reason he seems to enjoy the taste of my Eastern Mythology coffee table volumes. (I got them free from work or else I'd have been a lot more angry than I was)

Maybe I should revise the subject line!

I was looking to exchange my noisy sheltie.

EsmereldaX, I don't think it has been done. If you want to do it, get everyone to PM you their name and address and whether they have a dog or cat or ??? Set a deadline then swap the names and send the info out by PM.

I am not up for another exchange right now but this is a good way to see if there is interest.

I don't think I'd be able to coordinate it right now, but maybe in a few weeks. I have a busy couple of weeks coming up. But you're right...this might be a good indicator of whether or not there is interest.

It has been done before. It was awhile ago and I don't remember who organized it.

Go for it....or there are always people trying to think of exchanges to organize....maybe one of them will take it on.

I had a dog that once ate almost half of my yearbook and a toilet brush in the same day. He pooped leather brush things for quite awhile.
