I have not used Thrifty at MCO but have at LAS. We use them for all our Vegas trips. I signed up for Bluechip years ago and it is very similar to EA. You get off the shuttle in the lot and pick out your car. Hand your paperwork to the window and go.

It was Thrifty or Mears, as this is a budget trip and I am trying to spend less than $1000 (we're DVC) and do MVMCP so I am willing to forego national this trip. I have only had positive experiences with them in Vegas and have been upgraded several times too, so I am not hesitant at all.

I am very excited, as the boys and I have US AP's and now with a car we will get to go there also and see all the Disney resort decorations without being on the bus.

Well we just went ahead and booked our Dec. 17-23 car with the mousesavers.com code (AU02). We got a Mini Van for the week for a total of $212.11 (that includes all the extra fees, the base price was $169).

We thought for the week of Christmas, that was a good rate and didn't want to wait because we were afraid it would disappear (this weekend we booked airfare with Northwest for $140 something each for the four of us round trip from Dec. 17-23, and now that price is gone).

Thanks for starting this thread and all of the advice! We are very happy with this rate.

$210.02 after $20.50 discount, plus taxes, etc.

BTW, I seem to get the same rate and discount with all the Contract IDs I've tried, but the difference with Priceless was no concession fee, so I saved around $20.

After reading LIFERBABE and westjones's posts, I decided to try the AU02 code with Thrifty. It ends up to be $45 cheaper than my previous reservation with Alamo :

My Budget rate for 12/15 to 12/25 went down a little. I had $249 for a full-size with X793201. There's a $20 coupon with that one but I wasn't sure if that was included in the $249 quote or not.

Using the mastercard code on the budget website, I got an intermediate with a free-upgrade coupon (so hopefully full-size will be available) for $225.
