I'm ready to book 3 rooms/6 Adults at a Value for our 9 night September trip. I'm the Mom/planner, so I want handle all the arrangements early on (our kids are scattered across the world). I want to be sure I'm booking these correctly so that it's as easy as possible to obtain any discounts that might be offered later (I've got an AP/Newbie, so hoping for a AP room only discount for our one room, and the other 2 rooms are hoping for a Free Dining Discount/it's a better deal for them than the AP one). I'll be thrilled if we get any discounts 
I've learned here that I need to book each room as a separate reservation (prefer to do online), not only because I want to use be able to use two different discounts/diff. rooms, but also so I can revise them easily if a discount happens (my kids would NEVER be on top of this lol). Is it OK to book all three under my name with separate res', or do I have to get my kids to each book their own rooms (please say no...I'm hoping not to have to get them involved until a week out lol)? If a discount does happen, it sounds like there are various opinions on what to do then...do I need to cancel these before I can book new ones, or can I just modify them online? We haven't bought park tickets yet, but we're all probably doing 6D PH+, is it best to book these before the discounts come out, or wait? Only way they'll do the Dining Plan is if it's free, so I'm assuming I don't book the full package (rm, tickets, dining) for them now, right? Anything else I should know? THANKS!
