Loved your trip report! Wonderful photos. I have the same camera and a couple of lenses and I am impressed with what you got with your kit lens - mine can't take a clear pic to save its life. Maybe I got a dud.

We had read many times on the Disboards how the DDP has made it impossible to get walk-ins at any of the TS restaurants. In this pic you can see there was some walk-in availability. Throughout the trip, every time we saw this board there were always 3 or 4 TS restaurants with availability.

I noticed this same thing when I was there last September.. when the "scare" began with free dining. And Disney was calling everyone telling them to make ADRs. I know for a fact that Chef Mickey's, Whispering Canyon Cafe, 'Ohana, and Le Cellier were taking walk-ups. And from what I understand they are all very popular. In fact at 'Ohana, several families walked up and asked for tables while we waited for our ADR... and they were all sat before us (we were sat quit late after our ADR time too).
