We currently have 1 br BLT theme park view room booked for 5/2023 and if there is availability we want to move to a poly bungalow for that week instead. We have 6 contracts in total (2 at BLT, 2 at BCV, and 2 at VGF). We are also planning either a 10/2023 or 12/2023 trip and will stay at BCV so we want to “hold back” enough banked UY22 and “current“ UY23 points for that reservation (2 br) but our booking window for those trips obviously doesn’t open until after our window opens to book a poly bungalow. We are undecided where we will stay in 24 (but either VGF or BLT) - again would want to be conservative using those points.
If I modify the 5/2023 booking myself OR call member services, will I be able to ask the system to only pull (for example) BCV contract #1 UY 24 or if I assign BCV contract #1 will it pull UY 22, then UY 23, and UY 24 as it goes through and uses points? And will I (or MS) be able to request only 92 points be pulled from UY 23 and not the whole 200 from UY23?
I guess my core question is what is the best way to assign/use points to modify into a poly bungalow while simultaneously hold back enough BCV (but not too many) to get a Oct or Dec room?
I’m assuming the system is not granular enough to only pull X UY or X number of points from that UY but thought I’d ask!
thanks in advance!
