Housing recommendations for Glendale?

My nephew starts next week with an Imagineering internship in Glendale. They will provide housing for the first two weeks, so he has been trying to figure out the best place to live after those two weeks are up.

Any suggestions for a place that will be relatively close to where he will be working in Glendale? He's looking for something that is not too pricey and is in a safe area.
