Housing Availability?

I'm still waiting to hear back about the Fall Program (fingers crossed!) but I've already started to think about arrival dates. If they're still available, I'm in between August 23 and 30, though I'm leaning more towards 8/30 because it would give me a week off at home between my summer camp job and the CP to relax and get ready.

My question: Is there less housing available to choose from if your arrival date is later, or in this case, even the last one? I'd really like to get a 3 BR in Patterson or Chatham, and I wouldn't want my arrival date to affect my chances.

They try to keep rooms open for each day, so there should still be 3 bedrooms open in those complexes. It's good to have multiple options though, and it helps to get there early in the morning.

And hey.... I'm with 4 other girls and we're hoping for a 3 bedroom in Chatham, and we're looking for one more person... so if you hear back, and end up picking the 30th, let me know, and we'll talk.

Hey! I'm also waiting to be accepted. My phone interview is tomorrow, wish me luck! If I get in, I was thinking of arriving late august and now that I think about it august 30th sounds like a great date. I was also thinking about a 3 bedroom in Chatham. And I'm 19. =) How old are you and your friends?

I think they're all 18 or 19.... haha. We met on Facebook in the group.

I believe I'm the oldest one right now, and I turn 20 in October.

Thanks! and haha that's cool =) I turn 20 in February so we're close in age. I'll let you more about the date I choose when I find out if I got accepted. The 30th is pretty good date though. Possible roomies?

Yes we are! Haha. I bet you'll hear back way faster than me (since I took 4 weeks, which definitely won't happen this late in the season), and you can let me know how it turned out!

As for roomies, I know there's a roommate survey floating around here or Facebook - fill it out and send it to me in a private message, or an email (I think I have email attached to my name?), and I can check it out and send it to the other girls... we're all very nice, and I'm sure that you'll have no issues, but I bet they'd like to know a bit about you first!
