Don't forget to lock up your toothbrushes also!

so please.... if you leave your stuff just laying around (which i KNOW my family does ... keep tabs of what you have and where you have it! That way you will know if you are missing something when you get back.)

I've heard of stories on here when maids will go into rooms and steal stuff.

No daily maid service is something that i LOVE about the DVC! It allows me to sleep in if i want and not have to worry about them coming in if I don't answer

HOWEVER...

just because you aren't scheduled for a service, doesn't mean they can't still come into your room if you aren't there. One time, we were scheduled, and the maid knocked and litterally just barged right in... ya know, the kind some doctors do.. (quick) knock and opens the door right away...

I didn't even have time to get to the door and I even said 'hold on just a second...' but she didn't speak english, so it didn't do any good.

I always keep the door bolt on and the swing lock over, they can't possibly get in.

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that the first time we used our vacation club at SSR 4/07.

I called to find out how much an extra cleaning was and told them that I had to have it and bill my account. I had a family member who was sick for and entire day and night and I wanted to air out the place and have it cleaned.

They were so nice and didn't even bill us due to the situation.
