Housekeeping ??? while renting points

I'm renting points from a DVC member for the first time to stay at BWV. I'm so excited!!!!

Just a quick question-I know I don't get daily housekeeping and that's fine with me as I'm one of those people who "clean up" for the maid anyways. I just want to know if we can get clean towels daily? Will I have to call housekeeping every day to get new towels delivered?

You will only get clean towels on your trash and towel and full housekeeping days, unless you specifically request and pay for them. I'm not sure of the exact cost. Unless you're staying in a studio (which does not have a washer and dryer), I'd recommend that you bring some laundry detergent and wash them yourself, if having fresh towels daily is important to you. When we've washed towels, we usually just throw them in the washer on the way out of the room in the morning, and then in the dryer as soon as we come back later in the day.

Towels are $6/set/day requested. You will get a fresh set at check in, on a trash & towel day and on a full cleaning day.

A set for a studio and 1 bedroom is 4 bath towels, 4 hand towels, 4 washcloths and 1 bath mat.

You can get an extra "set" of towels for your villa for $6 (the "set" consists of 4 bath, face and hand towels).

You are also welcome to use the complimentary washer/dryer available for those in a studio or use the washer/dryer in the larger villas.

I'll be in a studio so won't have a washer/dryer in my room. Where's the complimentary washer/dryer as indicated by Webmaster Doc? I'll probably have to get the extra set of towels for pool use-do I pay housekeeping or do they add it to my bill???

They will add it to your bill. You don't need pool towels from your room, they give them out at the pool.

The BWV laundry is on the first floor near the elevators. When you get off the elevators, take a right and the laundry will be just steps away. It's not very big. The entrance to Luna Park (feature pool) will be just to your left when you get off the elevators. I would guess that many wait by the pool when doing laundry.

FWIW, we don't wash towels every day even when we have a washer/dryer in the room. We just hang them up to dry after using them. Mom says (that's me) that we don't wash towels every day at home so there is no need to wash them every day on vacation either.
