Housekeeping request

When staying at a DVC resort, I know housekeeping is not included. I know you can pay extra to have housekeeping daily, HOW MUCH DOES THIS SERVICE COST, and also when do you request it, Upon check in or couple days ahead of time.

We have never used housekeeping other than the standard ones you receive. It is nice not to have people in the room when you are gone. You can leave things out if you want etc. Not sure what the costs are, but someone will know. I know it is linked to the size unit you are staying in. We always make our bed at home when we get out of it, so that is just as easy to do at WDW too. We throw our towels in the washer when we go out the door and in the dryer when we return for our midday break.

What size unit are you staying in at which resort and how many nights? Trash and towel service is provided on the 4th day of your stay and a full cleaning with clean bed linens etc on the 8th day. They also refresh soaps, sponges, etc on trash and towel day.

We're only staying for 3 nights at Boardwalk villas.

If you are staying in a 1 or 2 bedroom, you will have a laundry room. If you are in a studio, you will have free laundry equipment available to you too, but not quite as convenient.

We'll be in a studio, but I'm really trying to find out is when can you request housekeeping if you want it.

I think you can request it the morning you want it, but not sure. If you want to request at time of check in, I am sure they would appreciate knowing ahead of time too.

If you are staying 5 nights check in Sunday and Checkout Friday I assume 4th day Trash and Towels is on Thursday?

Check-in day counts as day 1. So trash & towel would be Wednesday.
