Housekeeping question....points and cash!!

I was just curious as to what type of housekeeping I will get.

We are staying in a 2 BR (lock off) on points Sat-Fri then changing to a 1 BR cash ressie for Fri and Sat. and then back on points until the following Sat. The ressie has been linked together and although iit is now guranteed, if we stay in the unit the entire trip, what type of houskeeping will I get????

If your cash ressie is through CRO, you should get a Trash and Towel only on both of the points segments and full housekeeping on the one second day of your cash nights (or 2 full cleanings for the 2 cash days if in the same unit). If you're using a DVC cash discount you will likely just get the T & T and nothing else except a clean room for the 2 changes (or a full cleaning if you're able to stay in the same unit). If you're able to stay in the same unit, you might lobby to space your cleanings out differently, it never hurts to ask.

Check-in Saturday
Tuesday -- T&T

Switch to cash Friday - Move to clean room or else No Housekeeping

Saturday -- Full cleaning

Sunday -- Begin next point reservation. (I don't think you'll get a full housekeeping since this would be a "check-out" day for your cash ressie). As Dean said, if you have to change rooms again, you'll get a clean one.

Wednesday -- T&T


I doubt you'll have to move rooms but I included that possibility.

Thanks. should I just confirm cleaning days when I check in? Do you think they will tell me at check in if I can stay in the same villa or will I have to wait until Friday?

I just want to be educated (even a little) so at least I know what to ask for and what is out of reach!!

I would call housekeeping to confirm. I checked in Friday a week ago and had 2 cash nights w/member disc, followed by points Sun-Thurs nights. My points reservation said T & T Wednesday. I forgot to ask about it at check-in, so I called housekeeping. They had me scheduled for Monday, which would be day 4 counting the cash nights, they said it was all considered 1 reservation. We got keys & parking permit for the entire time when we checked in. Since you are switching room types, it may be different.
