If I take my family with me, for those other 2 rooms, they get housekeeping the same as the owner correct? Not daily housekeeping since they are not a cash guest?

If they booked for cash through Disney Reservation Center, they get a daily full cleaning. If the villa was booked through DVC for points or cash, they get the limited DVC housekeeping.

You can get daily housekeeping if you pay an extra fee.

Personally, we have always preferred at ANY hotel to maybe have housekeeping come by every 3 or 4 days. We ALWAYS put the Do Not Disturb sign up when we leave, and we are unhappy whoever we come back and find that they cleaned anyway. We are also not necessarily pleased when they obey the sign, but then call us around 5 or 6 pm to see if we want housekeeping.

You do get daily trash removal nowadays.

Maybe.

I mostly did on the last trip but they missed 2 out of 8. So with the T&T and full cleaning I guess they actually missed 2 out of the other 6.

Just curious what the current charge is for daily mousekeeping?

On a recent trip to the Polynesian, I put $5 in an envelope and marked it 'Mousekeeping' and put it by the TV, just in case housekeeping came in. They did, and they straightened up our room. I repeated this every day thereafter, and they came in and cleaned up and took out the trash every day except one.

You could probably also get much the same effect if you take your garbage out to the housekeepers, once you see them in the hall, and you give them a $5 tip, along with your garbage.
