Okay, as I start to think about my first trip home to SSR, I was thinking of all the household things I might need to take. So I don't over do it, would you care to give me an idea of things that really weren't necessary for you to bring? Thanks!
They provide a couple of rolls of paper towel, but if you prefer a good quality one then you can bring/buy your own! In fact it's the same with any of the paper products!!! There seemed to be ample powder for the dishwasher. They only provide a small box of soap powder for the washing machine - I brought along a box of tablets of my favourite brand. They don't provide things like bleach, so bring your own if you need that kind of thing.
As for food and snack items, the store at OKW was surprisingly well stocked, so I assume that the one at SSR will be quite similar. If you can, I'd suggest bringing any things you just can not live without and winging it for the rest!!
Hope I haven't confused you too much - but as I only know the UK names for things, it can get a bit muddling!!
We always get too much food. We have never needed extra soap, t. paper, paper towels, or facial tissue.
Things we must have:
Plastic cups - for two reasons: Glass breaks easily on cermaic tile and it cuts down on running a nearly empty dishwasher for glasses (or hand washing them over and over).
