Hello

We have a house rabbit! He is crazy! Has such a character lol I never thought I would say that about a rabbit lol!

We have like a giant hamster cage for him! We also have lots of things to keep him entertained as we were advised by our vet to as they dig the carpet which can be very expensive :/

Rabbits do their business in the same place every time! He has a litter tray for him once he has did one business in the cage we were told to put put the dirty bit of sawdust in the tray where he would then start doing it there every time (It worked for us very easily and all the research I have done every one else said they had it easy as well) Having the litter tray also helps keeps their cages cleaner I cleaned the litter tray every day as I was paranoid of it ever smelling bit house proud lol!

If you want to ask any more I will do my best to help!

we had a house rabbit called Bertie Bunny....I would advise you 'get them done' if it is a boy because they can become smelly and also very territorial. Bertie was gorgeous but ONLY liked my husband. He used to dare me to come into the room sometimes, little sod.... But he never bit me or hurt me he just didn't like me, he LOVED BIG TIME my husband and used to sit on the back of the sofa and groom his hair....
We also had a huge plastic cage that we only locked up at night and during the day he had the run of the place (all wires were encased in a plastic tubing!!!!) You have to give them loads to do but they are very funny. Getting 2 rabbits sounds like a great idea. Have you looked at YouTube at all the house bunnies....very funny....:)

I got 2 boys and they started to fight when they matured so we had to keep them separated even afternhaving them seen to:rotfl2: i have heardthat girls get on better or a boy/girl but you would hve to attend to them other wise you will have a bunny farm:lmao: they can be quite destructive and chew thorugh wires etc but are clean as other posters have said

I agree that if you are going to get 2 rabbits make sure you get 2 girls. We currently have 4 rabbits, all girls, and they all get along. I also agree that you need to make sure all cables are in plastic tubing as they do eat through anything.

oh yes forgot to mention wires lol our little monster chewed through a few! x
