Loved it

I didn't find the main characters that attractive. But, I'm really enjoying it just the same. Maybe they'll grow on me. Also, going back to watch GOT all over again. One question, which king was the Mad King? I still don't know.
In the prelude, they actually said 176 years before the birth of Danaerys. I’m thinking of re-reading Fire and Blood just to get reorientated to these characters but that may just muddy the waters. The Mad King was Aerys II (the father of Danaerys, Viserys, and Rhaegar). He was killed about 15 years prior to the start of Game of Thrones , and although I'm not watching it, just based on Fire and Blood, the events of House of the Dragon are approximately 300 years prior to the events of Game of Thrones.
Yes, the story is based on Martin’s Fire & Blood. House of the Dragon will focus on event that start about 100 years after the conquest of WesterosDVR'd it last night and have been excited for it all day!Do you know if it has any relationship to the actual prequel (Fire & Blood) written by George RR Martin?
So, the mad King hasn't been born yet, at least according to the books. The Mad King was Aerys II (the father of Danaerys, Viserys, and Rhaegar). Yeah, it was painful to watch, but at least he seemed to have loved his wife.LOVED the first episode though that birthing scene was so horrible!!!

I know right...why make her suffer unnecessarily, she was going to die anyway, dose away!Seems to me a good dousing with milk-of-the-poppy would have been in order at that point.
