How loud is it inside? DS6 hates Rainforest because of the noise/sensory overload. Have never been to HoB and wonderfing if anyone has any experience about the noise level in the dining room or potentially the patio if its open? TIA!

We have eaten at HOB several times and I don't remember ever thinking that it sounded really loud inside - not like Rainforest Cafe anyway.

I've heard people say it was noisy but it was always related to a show going on at the same time.

Just ate at HOB on 9/09 and didn't find it noisy. Maybe on a night when there is live music? Nothing too impressive for us. It was fine, food OK. Expensive.
DD had the Cajun meatloaf, said meatloaf at WDW 50's Prime Time was better, I just had the pulled pork sandwich- nothing special, definitely have had better for less than $13. We used restaurant.com coupon otherwise I would have been unsatisfied with the meal for the price. Hey, we were at Disney so all was good!

This was our experience at the end of July as well. Hardly anyone inside. We enjoyed our late lunch.

There's always music playing, but it's normally not so loud you can't carry on a conversation. Although if you do happen to be there during a live performance, it can get very loud, depending on who it is of course.

Sheesh, now I'm really craving a swamp cookie.

We used our coupon a few weeks ago...and ate around 7pm...it was loud for us with 2 children and they were not very friendly toward our children...I would suggest eating in the patio area for lunch. Food is not very tasty for the price. We were happier with the childrens hot dog/mashed potato selection then our own food. We had a blackened chicken sandwich and po boy. The bread on the po boy was so tough to chew...i was taken back a bit that it was actually a sandwich I was chewing and not rubber. Having said that we are going to try again to give it a fair try.
