House of Blues

Were thinking about grabbing dinner one night at House of Blues. Does anyone know off hand if I can make ADR's through Disney? I know before you had to call them directly.
Also, having a hard time finding reviews on House of Blues...anybody want to share theirs?

Might have just had bad luck the night we went, but everyone in our party (there were 9 of us) thought it wasn't worth half what they charged.

I am hoping we have better luck. My SisIL just went with her family and loved it, actually raved about it. I am sorry you didn't have such a great experience.

They said the VooDoo shrimp, salmon and bread pudding were awesome.

a few HOBs including DTD. I like their food and the atmosphere is usually entertaining. (If you have a chance the Sunday Gospel Brunch is really good.) The cornbread with maple butter is also very good.

We've been to a few HOB's including Orlando as well and really enjoy th efood. In fact I had a get-together during my wedding weekend at the one in Vegas.

We usually go to the one at DTD for lunch and just walk in and get a table no problems.

BUT, I wouldn't make the reservation online. I reserved my party of 20 online for the Vegas HOB. When we arrived in Vegas, I made a stop there to make sure everything was okay with the reservation and they never got it. They said they don't really pay attention to the online reservations. Luckily they were able to accommodate us. So definitely call and make a reservation.

Honest! Had the best beef filet I ever had at Disney at the HOB. It had a very slight cheese stuffing and the quality was excellent...friends have also enjoyed the ribs...

would second the Gospel Brunch on Sunday...totally different than evening...big breakfast buffet and real, and I mean real, Gospel songs...I have never been to a tent revival, but this is as close as I will ever get...probably!!

We eat at it once on or twice each trip.We like to go for late lunch around 2:30.We have always been seated then with no ADR. We love the Shrimp Po - Boy,VooDoo Shrimp,Catfish Nuggets with the sweet potato fries.We have always had great service and good food plus we are DVC so we get a nice discount. Danny

We have eaten there before and really enjoy the atmosphere and the food. We booked our ADR's with Disney and had no problems.

We are going to book HOB Gospel Brunch for our trip again. We tried last year and DH only agreed to the trip again if I bookd HOB Gospel Brunch. The food was good - music FANTASTIC
