have not been in a few years but I can tell you the food has always been fantastic!

We ate there last year. It was our first night's dinner, since we were on DDP and HOB does not anticipate the plan, we paid OOP. The restaurant was seperate into tiers. We were seated at the end of the resturant, by the patio. Very nice. The portions were quite generous.
For starters, we shared:
Fried catfish nuggets, corn bread and a bowl of Gumbo
We also shared two entrees among the four of us:
Fried shrimp po-boy, Jambalaya, and a full rack of babyback rib.
Everything was very good and spicy. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Sounds yummy...we also have ADRs for our first night. We're at SSR so it'll be pretty convenient. DH has some type of reception for the convention he's going to that's being held there that night so I decided to take dd there for dinner as well. Thanks for the feedback. (will have to keep in mind the portion size-maybe I can get dh or even dd to split something )

We thought it was great and one of most reasonably priced places to eat. Great burgers, pasta, salads and jambalya!

TRY THE CORNBREAD!!

seriously though, I've eaten at HOB many, many times... (it's probably been 2 years since I've been) and I always enjoy the food and atmosphere. and the cornbread is delish! I've made a meal out of it before.
