Hi all! I need to decide where to dinner with my boyfriend. That day we will be at DHS and that night there will be extra magic hours in that park. So, where to dinner if we want to go later to the downtown? An early dinner at the park and stay there until park close? Or remain in the park enjoying the attractions and dinner later at house of blues will a cold beer?
On the other hand, what do you think about the quality of the food?

I would go to House Of Blues, It's my favorite, I did like the 50s but could do without the waitress chatter.:rotfl:

I would eat at one of the restaurants inside DHS. They are all unique and something you can only do at WDW. House of Blues is a chain and the one I've been to in New York was nothing special. Plus, I don't know how the HOB at DTD works - if there's an act playing there that night, is there a separate place to dine or do you need an admission ticket? Something to look into. But I'd go with 50's PT out of the two.

50's Prime time. The waitress/waiter banter is part of the experience and if you get a good one and enjoy interacting you will have a great time. We only ate at HOB once and it was enough to take it off our list.

The draft beers are good too :)):thumbsup2

i have been to house of blues quite a few times and found their food and service to be really poor. we went in the summer and had to take most of our food back as it was cold.

OH I do not believe this at all, I have been to HOB Many times and each one was great, good food a good service, maybe it might be how you act towards them.:happytv:

Thanks for all the replies!
Maybe I should consider to dinner at the 50's and then go for a beer at the downtown. I read some good reviews about regland road... What do you think about change HOB for Regland Road? (dinner at HS and then DDT)

Or maybe it was just a bad night and their food was cold :confused3 Different servers, different levels of how busy they are, different experiences. I've never been overly impressed at HOB myself.
