House Foundation Cracks

Has anyone ever had the foundation on their house repaired? I guess the side that our garage is on has already sunk and needs to be repaired.

We're in the process of getting quotes to have ours done. In our case the house itself is mostly fine, but the land has been sinking quite a bit. The first guy who came to give an estimate was quite impressed that we were only having trouble with one area in terms of water seepage.

No idea what the quotes are going to turn out to be, this one was supposed to return yesterday with a written quote and didn't.
