House explodes in Cleveland area

Last night around 9:30, we heard a sound that sounded like a slamming door. well, having just put the kids to bed, we lept up to find out just who is roaming about and slamming doors. We met the kids in the hall as surprised as we were. It turns out after turning on the local news at 10 that a house about 6 miles away had blown up. reports of the sound from 20 MILES AWAY. The residents were both 86 and said to still be in their lounge chairs when help arrived. The house is no more. Both victims were life-flighted to major area hospital, their condition as of right now is listed as critical. Incredibly they are still living as again, the house is gone. pretty incredible stuff.

Wow!!!!

That happened a number of years back in a neighboring town here. Only half the house blew up and the lady who owned it was sitting in the half that didn't blow up and only received some moinor injuries.

I think they traced it back to some problem with the furnace.
