House cleaning before your WDW vacation....

yes I clean too. When my kids were younger they just didnt understand why I got crazy the day before, and was up half the night cleaning and washing floors.... Now that were going without the kids this year, we will see what the house looks like when I get home!!!! Yikes....

I am glad to know it just isn't me! I have to have a perfect house when we leave or I dread it even more coming back. I usually stay up most of the night the night before ironing, packing,etc. I am trying to have this done 4 days before for this trip. We'll see, but that is my goal. Off to iron now.......

Me too! I started today, with cleaning out the refrigerator, and clearing off my counter tops that are cluttered. I also re-checked the suitcase, to make sure I have EVERYTHING! 11 more days to GO!

I am awful......everything must be spotless, sheets changed, clothes washed, etc. I basically vacume as I head out to the car.

DH and DS just don't get it!!!

We also have to have a super neat/clean house before leaving on vacation. Not only do we want to return to a clean house but I'd die when my house sitter comes in to water plants, etc... while we're gone if I left my house a mess!

When we returned & all got together afterward (our friends who watched the house & watered the plants), they made remarks about what neat freaks we were. Ahh...if they only knew!!
