I have to make a purchase of hotwire.com before i can joint the savings club? that's annoying! please tell me customer service rep i talked to was wrong. i want to buy tickets!

Their saying you have to purchase through Hotwire in order to become a member of Hotwire Savings Club?

That wasn't the case for me. I've never purchased from Hotwire and I am a member of Hotwire Savings Club.

I tried to fill in the form to join and it kept registering an error. I called their 800 # and that's when the rep told me i had to purchase something through hotwire.com. Which is not going to happen bc i like to know where i'm staying and how many connections my flight has before i book.

any suggestions?

I am almost positive the person you talked to at Hotwire is incorrect as I just signed up about a month ago.

I'll bet you can call Hotwire Savings Club and they might help you. It is a totally different company than Hotwire anyway.

Maybe you should try again to sign up online. I've never used Hotwire and I just signed up with no problems at howiresavingsclub.com . Maybe a glitch in the system the day you tried to sign in?

I was told the same thing when I called them because I, too, kept on getting an error message. You need to buy something from Hotwire before you can join Hotwire Savings Club. The woman who helped me confirmed this with the manager on duty. They both directed me to Dealpass instead.

But that's not the truth, I joined hotwire savings club and I have never purchased anything from hotwire. I think you should try again as I'm not quite sure you're being told the truth.

Just joined hotwire online today--bought my vouchers for Feb trip, and printed the $10 cash rebate slip. Did not have to purchase anything in advance to become a member. Good luck!

I seem to remember a long time ago (maybe 1 year or so) people were talking about the fact that people in certain states were not able to join the program (Connections???) for one reason or another. New Jersey sticks out in my mind, but not really sure on that one.

Where are you from, if you can't join??? Maybe we can see if there is something in common?

I joined without buying anything from hotwire before. I signed up bought my vouchers for my Feburary trip, some movie tickets and some gift cards and I got my $10 rebate for makeing my first order with hotwiresavingsclub.com just the other day.

No special code needed. I received my rebate and my first purchase was for a combination of Q&C vouchers and Targer/ToysRUs gift cards. Just print the confirmation of the order and send it with the rebate page you printed after registering.
