Hi!

I was cruising through a recent post related to Hotwire Savings Club (HSC) and Connections vouchers.

I went to the HSC site and thought it might be a service that I would use even without ordering the connections vouchers.

I saw that they offer savings at K-Mart, Target and lot of restaurants. What exactly are the savings?

Also saw that they offer movie tickets for $4.50 each. Which movie company is this associated with?

I assume that if I joined HSC that I would pay them the monthly fee and then coould order Conncections Vouchers.
I assume that since I would be paying HSC the montly fee that I
would not pay an annual fee to Connections. Is this correct?

Also if I at any time cancelled my membership with HSC would I need to call Conncections and to cancel with them as well?

Advice on this would be much appreciated!

With Hotwire your first month is free, then your monthly fee is 7.95 but you go on an monthly basis vs annual amount so by what I read on the site, you can cancel any month.

The other retail cards is when you purchase a $25 retail card you get $5.00 back.

You don't work thru Connections at all! Any cancelling is done with Hotwire's Customer Service and I've talked to them ( I had other questions). They really know what there doing & are very helpfull even though this is a new program to them.

I don't know anything to help you with regarding movie tickets, Sorry!

I'm still wanting for my vouchers but I'll let you know when they arrive.

MaMudduck, do the q & c vouchers through Hotwire cost the same as Connections ($11.25)? And did you have to pay for shipping? Also, I see that Hotwire is offering a $10.00 rebate on your first purchase. Were you able to use it when buying vouchers or is it just for reservations? Please keep us posted about how the whole process works out for you.

I just looked into joining last night. It appears the rebate is just for Hotwire reservations. There is no shipping charge for the Q&C meal vouchers, and I presume for the gift cards.

They also sell Theme park tickets at a 10% discount. Has anyone ordered passes through them??

No I couldn't even figure how to use my rebate of $10.00. You're suppose to mail it with your confirmation slip, so I think as already stated, they must only be for travel stuff.

What are the shipping costs? Can you order the passes and vouchers in one order to save on shipping?

no shipping costs, well it certainly did show up on "check out"
And I'm sure you can order it all together, it's just a point & click, then check your shopping cart after.

If you go to movie tickets and put in you zip code it comes up with theaters in your area when you click on the different logos. I was confused too as there was no mention of our local cinema. After going through all the logos it finally came up. Now have to decide if I want to try some of the lunch vouchers as well.

Well, I took the plunge and ordered theme park tickets from Hotwire.....I'll let you all know how it goes! I couldn't pass up the price for a 7-day hopper: 294.27 for adult and 236.76 for child....and no shipping charges. Hope all goes well!!
