Hotwire Club WDW tickets

Some of you have actually gotten into the park with these?? Same tickets, just lower prices? I'd sure hate to buy tickets only to be turned around at the gate or made to sit through a Hotwire presentation before heading through the turnstile.

As far as the club as a whole goes, do you really find it beneficial? You pay less for a store gift card, which could then be used by me for my own shopping or given as a gift and then the recepient gets a greate value than I actually spent?

Anyone have problems, or it is truly a legitimate savings medium?

I too was skeptical. I have yet to buy the Disney tickets but will have no problems doing so. So far, I have bought 15 Target gift cards, two BArnes and Nobles, and two Bennigans. They arrived promptly, within 3 days of my order, with standard shipping!! Just noticed on my credit card statement that I received my credit on July 1st. For now, this is one club I want to be in!

I purchased a 4 fay PHP from Connections Club for my mom (we had APS). She had NO problem using it. It is the same as the tickets you get from Disney. (Although, I do not think you can get a 4 day PHP from Disney. It came with one plus).

I also purchased the gift cards from Connections. I was credited every month with my rebate. I gave them as gifts at Christmas (teachers, etc.). I also used some myself - KidsRUs cards to buy school clothes, ToysRUs cards to buy Christmas gifts, JCPenney cards to buy a bed, etc.

Is Connections different from Hotwire, or all the same thing?

I have used the Target & Blockbuster cards with no problems. One cashier at Blockbuster looked at it - I think the design might be different? but it ran through on all 3 trips w/no issues. Yep, great value to give someone a $25 GC & only pay $20.

Oh, and I ordered Tuesday & had them by Saturday. Be careful though, mine were regular shipping & the larger than normal envelope looked like junk mail. I almost pitched it!

My husband used a 7day PHP pass on our trip of 2 weeks ago that I had purchased from Hotwire with no problem. I don't believe you will have problems with tickets for Disney unless you buy them from an unknown source or a shady ticket dealer.
