FYI... Hotwire no longer selling QCvouchers or PHP's. Glad I purchased mine cpl weeks ago. :D

Thanks to the new MYW dining feature!!! I enjoyed those vouchers and I'm sad to see them go. Oh well, all good things must come to an end I suppose!!!

Does hotwire sell any vouchers now? I also enjoyed having them for our last trip. If they aren't available that's going to stink :guilty: . We don't stay on property because it isn't practical with 4 kids under 5 so we wouldn't be able to take advantage of the MYW packages.

Another board member had a reply from an e-mail she had sent to hotwire savings club and they said thet they would not be selling any disney vouchers or tickets this season. Hopefully next season they would. Then they said that next season will begin in May 2005. Still not sure but I cancelled DH membership. I only use Hotwire savings Club for Disney Vouchers and Tickets. I will keep checking in here to see what developes. :earseek: We have used vouchers for our last 5 trip. I still have Disney Visa reward $$ I can use to eat with. I feel that Disney want more control and stop people from selling vouchers and passes on E-Bay. I can't blame them for that but I hope that Hotewire can offer vouchers and passes in the future. :duck: :thewave:

I was just about to join hotwire to get vouchers for Feb and Apr, but they don't even seem to be accepting members anymore. I wonder if since all of the WDW people are cancelling their memberships, they no longer have enough people to have a club!

Ebay still has lots of vouchers listed but they are going at rather inflated prices, as usual.

My experience with Hotwire has been top notch. I joined last year, kept the membership for a few months and then cancelled because I didn't think I would use it. I joined again last month and have had 3 shipments. I always get my merchandise within 5 days. My orders are always accurate and you just can't beat the discounts. I'm definitely going to keep my membership. It's true what another poster said about it being a trip to McDonalds (less actually) and if you shop regulary at Kmart or Target, it pays for itself. Heck, we eat at Outback a few times a month and that in itself more than pays the membership fee. :D

I ordered Park hopper pluses on 12/31 and on 1/5 was told they were out of stock and did not know when or if they would get them back in. I asked what to do since I was leaveing on 1/16 for WDW. They told me that I could not cancel and if the tickets came in they would send them and charge me. I just got back from WDW, had to buy more tickets and guess what??? They shipped the tickets on 1/18 and my credit card was charged. I called AMEX and they said they will dispute it, but I am concerned that Hotwire will win and I am out 800.00 for tickets I could not use. What kind of company treats people this way?

Doesn't Hotwire have a return policy? I realize they would not cancel the order but will they let you return the tickets?

I can't imagine them not crediting your account once they receive the tickets back. Maybe once the order was begun, they couldn't stop it. Did they tell you, they wouldn't refund your money if you returned the sent tickets? What happened to you stinks, obviously some kind of glich in their system. I hope you'll keep us posted on how it is resolved.

I'm not trying to lessen your experience as it sounds like it was very stressful and Hotwire obviously didn't handle it well. I just wanted to state that for me, they've been one of the best companies I've ever dealt with. I've had excellent transactions with them so hopefully, in the end they'll come through for you.

Good Luck

I've placed two orders with them and gotten my tickets and vouchers within 5 days :D ! I also cancelled my free membership the very last day I could and they charged my account for the membership but then it was immediately credited the next day. I wish I had taken advantage and gotten more gift cards while I was a member. I would definately join again in the future to get gift cards and movie tickets. I'm sad the meal vouchers have been nixed :guilty: .

I'm suprised that someone had such a bad customer service/return problem, I hope you can straighten that out.

Hotwire does not allow returns. If they are out of stock of an item that is time sensitive then they should allow you to cancel the order, but I have no experience with their policy on this. Our experience has been perfect.

I have never used them for tickets (have an AP) but use them for the Target and Barnes and Noble gift cards.

I may cancel but my service has always been great.

Those looking for old PHP tickets can get them thru AAA. My AAA has a lot instock. But I have found that they are more expensive than MYW tickets.
