Hotty Toddy, WDW almighty!

Call me nosey..........why aren't your dh and other dd going on this trip?

By the way, you're doing great!

Now look at all these people signing on to read your PTR. Aren't you glad you did one now!!? And you are inspiring others!

I love the classic pics. Just take it one post at a time. If you only do a little at a time it will last longer. There are always some lulls in the story. Posting pics is a good filler and you can never, never have enough pics!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

19 more days!!! ;) ;)

Yay! 18 more days now! I really can't wait to hear all about it (and more planning stories)!

just giving you a bump back to page 1.

Thanks for the bump! LOL!

Holy cow! It's the famous Winkers! LOL! Thank you very much. And it's not nosey at all!

Long story, but my kids are older now and it's harder for us to vacation all together. My DH and I celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary at Coronado Springs last September. It was the first time we had spent time away from the kids. And we enjoyed ourselves tremendously! We were like two 10 year olds in "the World"! Our youngest will still be in school and very involved with her music programs, and Mandi will be kicking off her winter break (she's a junior at the U of MS). It will be fun, and I promised my youngest that we will go on a trip in 2010, when she graduates high school. We won't be alone, we will have Gma and Gpa to visit with!

As you can see, I like to plan my days around where I'm going to eat! :rotfl2:

I am going to try to contribute to the "food porn" thread. After all of these months, I think I need to pay some of it forward! I just have to get up the nerve to take pictures with people watching - and not care about it!

MMMMMMM, Food Porn!!!;)

The itinerarey looks very complete. I can't wait to see what it all looks like during the holidays!!!

I really wanted to try columbia harbor house, but my family complained and I was out voted. I guess I shouldn't complain too much sense I picked all the adr's!

I have some pics from previous trips, if you're interested. We've visited WDW in December many times.

They have a great tuna sandwich! I guess it's just different than the everyday hamburgers, and such.

OH!!!! I am getting hungry now!

Hold on to your socks! We've got a lot of eatin' to do!

I just for out yesterday that my dad has been reading along. Maybe I can get him to sign up and post some comments here... :confused3

Please? :worship:

It's about time I contributed, huh?
First post. Here it goes ...

This feels kind of dumb, but I feel the need to introduce myself into this PTR.
  • My name is Mandi. Lydia is my mom.
  • I'm a philosophy major (and IT tech) at Ole Miss. Don't ask what I'm going to do with my degree. I don't know yet. :confused3
  • Just finished up a summer internship at St. Andrews United Methodist church as youth pastor. It was a blast.
  • I've never been to WDW as an adult (not even a teenager) and I'm very excited about going.
  • Epcot is my fave.
  • I have a small stomach and judging by the way Mom plans our days around food, I need to stretch out my tummy muscles.
  • I get to be in charge of the video camera this time. :hippie:

That's all for now I think. I have some funny t-shirts I'm going to wear in ride pics, but I'll link you to those later.

I'm off to find an avatar. Bye!

Hey, there she is! Yes, maybe we can talk him into joining us on here now!

I almost felt like I was going on this trip by myself! :guilty:

Hi, Mandi!!!
It's good of you to join in with mom. Lydia, go ahead and post some of the Christmas past photos. I think everyone would enjoy them.popcorn::

Just found your PTR and am signing on! Looks like it will be fun hearing your plans. Can't wait to hear more!!!

I will get some of those Christmas ones on here tonight or tomorrow. It's a great time of the year to experience WDW.

Oh, yeah... Yay, Mandi is here!

Hey there - went to your link from your post on my PTR.

Glad to see you are taking your parents too! Maybe if I have any tips on traveling with parents (and oh yea GRANDMA) and I will send them your way.

I am a little Jealous! I have always wanted to go to WDW for Christmas - but alas I work in retail, so we are not allowed to vacation at the Holidays. I have always thought about a midnight flight in on Christmas Eve to suprise the family and then the parade at MK first thing Christmas morning. Maybe one year...

You also got all of the ressies I could not get!
le Cellier
Liberty Tree Tavern
Ohana
50's Prime Time cafe

Glad to see your daughter on here - I have beend debating showing our oldest DD the site. Just sent a link to Sis.

Oldest DD will be our photographer and videographer for the trip too. She is getting a new camera for her Bday to take pics with - she takes the best Pics. She may be too embarrased to take food porn pics (15 you know)!

Best wishes on your Holiday trip and PTR!!
