Hotels?

You are thinking about this in a way that won't help you.

From your other thread you wanted to save money and found a cheap hotel option that requires a long walk. So now are looking for other places that offer a shuttle. There are places that have shuttles, but will cost more. So you have lost the savings.

You can priceline a nice hotel but will have to use ART in most cases. This will mean small walks and lots of time for shuttles. Why don't you price the nearby hotels that are also cheap; Ramada Maingate, Anaheim Plaza, Quality Inn, Super 8 Katella.

ya i am just checking few more places out, but so far ya cheaper is better. I know candy cane inn had shuttles but seems wont take 5 ppl lol, and the traval logue with shuttle is 4bucks a person, another places shuttle dont run till 40mins after park opening so that is a waist of mm lol so far travle logu seems best and my hubby just told me its about as far from here to the school (not far at all and soemthing my son dose every day so for sure he wont have trouble. I called days inn too since we stayed there at sea world and it was fine but naaw nothing there. i think ive called ever hotel on the map ive looked at in the last three weeks.

ok well i sent my dad the art prices and seeing one is right across from the hotel we may jsut do that instead thanks all

The walk from Ball to Mickey @ Friends has a HUGE hill (at least it did when we stayed at the Super 8 on Disneyland Drive). Though it wasn't far, it was a loooong walk. Also there wasn't a sidewalk on the side of the street as the parking structure so we had to walk all the way down past the M&F before we could cross the street and back track a bit. The second day we opted to pay for parking instead.

Motel 6 anaheim maingate had a free shuttle (I believe it was free, but we never used it). Its about a 20 minute walk or so (3 adults and one toddler in a stroller). It was on the cheaper side. When we stayed there in Jan 2011 it was the cheapest we found through the DL website.

thanks i think were gona stick with 99 annight and the art system instead walking for 3 days out 4

i was renting one one year for my leg problems but no i dont use it all the time, my dad how ever will have his wheel chair with us for his own safety

I think getawaytoday has the best prices for ART passes. If you buy 3 or 5 days, you get two free days, and kids under 10 get a free pass with each adult. There appears to be no service charge for this.

If you do decide to not stay within walking distance and use ART, check out getawaytoday. Last time I checked they had 5-day passes pretty cheap.

We normally have an ECV and a wheelchair in our group, so we always stay within walking distance. We're trying the Del Sol our next trip (they had a really good deal when we made our reservations, but the prices have gone way up since then).

Are you looking at 2 rooms or a suite? Your total price for everyone is to be no more than $99 per night *incl. tax/parking fees/shuttle fees*? Cheap places we've stayed at are HoJo *with the ent rate* Anaheim Plaza *won't spend more than $60 per night there, Stovall's Best Western $60 per night *this past Thanksgiving weekend, using this fantastic tip* *this* Motel 6 *walkable but it's a longer one.

What are your dates?

What are your dates?

From the count down in the signature...in 25 days which sounds like Memorial Day weekend. If that's the case, what you are seeing is probably as good as it gets. Its a holiday weekend, and typically prices go up as you get closer to your dates unless the hotel has a lot of availability....which they wont for a holiday weekend.

thansk all ya we had desert inn but we needed to save money and 99 a night isnt bad at all. I will check getaway today for art tho thanks for that.
We are in one room, and some things we have problem with is 5ppl not 4 as most allow so we had to get suites

ty that works better but how will i get it do i print the art ticket up off getawaytoday.com or do i get them in the mail? Id like to order them today just to have them with the tickets and giftcards i have

It may be because of the number of adults, but we have never had a problem booking a regular room for 5.

Ya, I think with 4 adults you're going to have a problem finding something at that rate. You might find something at the Anaheim Plaza but you'd need 2 rooms, you might look into that tho, altho I do see the best price I'm getting is $89 per night......
