Hotels Within Walking Distance?

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, but I guessed.

Are the onsite hotels within walking distance? If so roughly how long does it take to walk to each park?

But also, are there offsite hotels within walking distance? And about how long does it take to walk to each park if there is? Is it safe to walk to these hotels at night?

All of the on-site hotels are within walking distance or you have the option to take a boat. We haven't stayed at the Royal Pacific or Portqfina so I can't say how long a walk they are but I do know that the Portofina is beyond the Hard Rock so they would be the farthest walk. We stay at the Hard Rock and you can be at Universal in about 5 min. and IOA is just a few minutes past that. I have seen on here that some people walk from the hotels that are on Kirkman just across the busy street from the main entrance to Universal. I wouild think that would take a good 1/2 hour to walk to the escalator by the valet parking drop-off and then you have to take the escalator and walk through City Walk to the parks.

ALL 3 onsite hotels are within walking distance.We stayed at Portofino Bay ( the furthest) and it took about 10-15 mins, and that was leisurely.We could get there faster if we walked at a brisk pace.There was a shortcut ( thru the Hard Rock parking lot that was posted here in the Disboards)we took that shaved several mins off the time as well.All 3 hotels also have a boat( though walking we beat the boat several times) and a shuttle bus( which we never bothered with).
