Hotels within walking distance/no bus needed of a park

I am going to WDW in December with my sister. We are taking her son who will be 23 months. This is our first trip with an infant (didn't first go to WDW until all of my siblings were at least elementary age).
We went to DL last year with him, and he loved it, however we did notice that we needed to take breaks with him.
We have always been morning to midnight people, so we have stayed at the All Stars, which has been fine. However, I cannot stand the busing which is why if we left, we would not go back during the same day. We are wanting to be closer so we can easily get back to our room and then to the park.
I am trying to figure out which hotels are nearer a park so we can take the break. However, money is an object. Currently we are booked at the Dolphin, which I am excited to try but I am wondering if another hotel will be more cost effective and provide the same convince. Thanks

If you do not like the bussing, rent a car. Quite frankly, nothing will satisfy your requirements to be near all the parks with a toddler. Especially in December, you will complain how cold it is.

Unfortunately, the Swan or Dolphin are likely your cheapest option within walking distance to a park. You can walk to both HS and Epcot from there but still need a bus to MK or AK. There is no resort you can do all of the parks within walking distance. The resorts on the monorail get you to MK and Epcot but still need buses to HS and AK and those are the more expensive deluxe resorts.

I agree if you dislike the buses that much look into renting a car. We just did a trip with 3 kids including 22 month old twins who had to nap and I didn't think the buses were that bad. We drove so we had our car but after the first day opted not to use them. Experience with the buses varies drastically though.

The Boardwalk, Beach and Yacht Clubs and Swan/Dolphin are all walking distance to both Epcot and DHS - though might be a LONG walk for a toddler.

As PP mentions, there is no 1 resort that will provide walking access to all four parks. There are resorts with different modes of transport other than buses - monorail and boat/water taxi. Or you could rent a car.

since you have stayed at All stars - then you know how far apart the parks are.

with MK and AK being the furthest. epcot and DHS in the middle.

so which park are you asking to be near. You can't be near all of them. Which pretty sure you know.

for prices the all stars are the best.

they are cheaper now than Pop and AoA.

Dolphin will be the cheapest option for a resort walking distance to the parks. Boardwalk, Yacht & Beach Club will be more money.
WL is a lower cost Deluxe and while not walking distance to MK, it does have a boat to MK.

you could look into renting points for beach club villas, boardwalk villas or Bay lake towers (at the contemporary). check out David's rental.

Nope. You will get a parking pass when you check in at your resort.

But if you are staying at the Swan and Dolphin, you will pay for nightly parking there.

As others have said, there are only six resorts within walking distance of a theme park.

CR to MK (about 0.5 miles)
BW, YC, BC, S, and D to Epcot (about 0.2 to 0.6 miles, depending on the resort)
BW, YC, BC, S, and D to DHS (about 1.0 to 1.3 miles, depending on the resort)

The S/D are closest to DHS and furthest from Epcot. The Beach Club is closest to Epcot.
