A couple questions. My husband decided to extend our September trip and add on a few days before we check into our Disney hotel. We are going to do two days at Kennedy and one day in Siesta Keys. We have a place to stay in Siesta Keys so that is all set but I am wondering about hotels nears Kennedy. I was looking at the Ramada in Titusville. It's affordable and seems close. There will be three of us going. Anyone stayed there before? Or has anyone stayed in the area and can recommend a decent, inexpensive hotel with queen beds?
Also speaking of Kennedy, do we really need two days? Our youngest is coming on this trip which is why we are adding on Kennedy. He's a bit of a space buff and whenever we've done Disney time constraints have stopped us from visiting. We have done various museums and even NASA tours throughout the US. We are definitely doing one of the tours because he wants to see the special areas. I just worry two days will be too much. Honestly I'd be more than happy to stay at our friends in Siesta Keys for an extra day. So how long do you need at Kennedy? We will not do the Imax, it's not our thing. Mainly he wants to see the shuttle, the launch areas and the historical stuff, basically what is unique to Kennedy. He has no interest in the lunch with the astronaut.
So please tips, ideas and thoughts?
