I'm flying over to the UK next month & taking the day flight into Heathrow from Washington (get in at 10pm) so will be spending 1 night there.

I've been looking at the Radisson & the Marriott (free night at either - can also do the Renaissance or the Park Inn).

Can anyone give me any recommendations/opinions as to which to choose?

Requirements would be 2 beds, nonsmoking & with a restaurant (or 24hr room service).

Thanks in advance for any responses!

Monica, we have booked the Heathrow Marriott the night before we fly to DC in June, it does look quite nice and is rated as the top Heathrow hotel on Trip Advisor.

Claire ;)

Hi Claire - I'll be there in April so I can give you my 2 cents worth lol.

I'm travelling w/ my dad so must get a good place :-)

What terminal are you flying into as that makes a big differnce, for termonal 5 BA, I stayed at the Sofitel there is connected to the terminal opened last year and very nice indeed.

We're flying United - I think it's terminal 1.

United is terminal 3, as are all other long haul destinations bar BA flights.

Sorry to correct you Claire but United do indeed now fly from T1 along with Air NZ. They moved into T1 from T3 earlier on this year.

Oh thought terminal 1 was only domestic? Learn something new everyday.
