Hotels near Dollywood

My family and I were thinking about going to Dollywood in the spring for a long weekend.

I have been researching hotels and everyone I have looked at so far has negative reviews.

Can anyone recommend a hotel that is not too far from Dollywood, clean and no more than $100 a night?

What are your dates?
What things are you looking for (large room, pool, breakfast, etc...)

It is the $99.00 or less that is probably the kicker.

If it is the family with kids, etc, I can recommend the MainStay Suites Pigeon Forge.
Large room, full kitchen, a pool with a little lazy river (if it is warm enough), continental breakfast, etc...

I know this will be more expensive than you want but, my DH and I just went there for our anniversary and we rented a cabin from Patriotgetaways.com and we LOVED it. Some of the cabins are 50% off look under those ones.

DH and I also stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Kodak, TN it wasn't too far from Dollywood and it had great rates and excellent free breakfast.

We are looking either the first or 2nd weekend in May

IT is 2 adults and one Kid, 6yrs old.

They look great. Put them in my favorites for when we ready to book.

So hard going somewhere new. Every little bit of advice helps
