Hotels near airport for one night stay - Renaissance or SpringHill Suites?

We're checking out of POR on 2/25 and are planning on staying near the airport for one night as our flight home from Orland leaves at 7am on 2/26!


I think I've narrowed it down to either the Renaissance Orlando Airport (total $171 for the night using AAA) or SpringHill Suites ($132.72 total using AAA).

Anyone have experience with either of these hotels?

I haven't stayed at either, but wanted to mention that we are staying the night of Feb. 24th at the Sheraton Suites at the airport. The rate is $145 with tax. Not sure if this helps you or not! It is 1 mile from the airport...with all the other hotels and has a 24 hour shuttle.

I just checked Sheraton suites and for my date I don't see anything less than $280+tax (even with AAA). How did you book that rate?

Have you checked the Hyatt that's actually in the airport? I just tried, but their server seems to be down right now. I think they even take care of getting your luggage checked for you.

Yes, I have. Unfortunately their prices are very high.
