Hotels in Valdosta?

Does anyone have any recommendations for decent, clean, and cheap hotels in the Valdosta area? I was thinking of leaving a day early for my Disney trip next week and spending the night halfway down. I've found some $50 rooms in Valdosta on Travelocity, but I don't want to end up in some roach-infested and/or crime-ridden place!

Suggestions?

We stop in Valdosta many times - because of Marriott Rewards I have stayed the last few years at the Fairfield or Courtyard and they have been great.
