This year we will be driving to WDW from Indiana, we drive every time we go, as we don't like to fly and don't care to use Disney's buses after having so many people see one of us carrying DS (1 at the time, 2 now) and the other carrying everything else we had with us not giving us their seat. We have always stayed at McDonough, Ga (just south of Atlanta) on the way down to give us a break from driving. However, this year every room in McDonough is booked! No hotel that comes up on Google has a room. (I think there is a biker convention near there or something.) Does anyone have a recommendation for any hotels in Forsyth or Macon, those are the next 2 cities along I-75? Thanks!

I would recommend a Hampton Inn because every location my family and I have stayed at their rooms have always been very clean and they have a great continental breakfast each morning. Also have you thought about driving a little farther like to Valdosta, Georgia?

Thanks,

Google has reviews for about every hotel in the area, but for every good review seems like there's a bad review as well. Maybe hotels.com has some better insight. I'll check out reviews for Hampton's in the area. I don't know if DS would get ancy going all the way to Valdosta, plus if we leave the Fosyth/Macon area about 8 or 9 in the morning the next day it puts us at WDW right about check in time which works well for us, since our first night there we usually just hang out at the resort and relax to get ready for the parks. Thanks!
